Centers of Excellence Program

 

Viking Systems Inc. is committed to support our valued partners in their quest to advance innovation and adoption of innovative minimally invasive surgical techniques.  In an effort to further recognize their efforts, we have established the Viking Centers of Excellence Program for select medical centers that have integrated our 3D technology into their academic programs. 

 

Each Center of Excellence will be featured in several ways including but not limited to:

  • Listings and references in Viking Systems’ public relations materials
  • Listing and references on Viking Systems website(s)
  • Viking Systems sponsored surgical specialty association activities and awareness campaigns
  • Recognized and referenced by the Viking Systems International Sales and Distribution organizations as an educational reference center 

Each center will also be encouraged to promote their designation as a Viking Center of Excellence. 

 

Telesurgery and on-site teaching:  Viking Systems will work in conjunction with your surgeons to develop surgical technique training programs and would be recognized as an exposure and training center for 3D minimally invasive surgery.  We will schedule training sessions where visiting surgeons can view procedures and/or co-ordinate telesurgery programs where surgeons can remotely view and interact with your surgical staff.  The center would be compensated for time and reimbursed for any incurred expenses.  Viking Systems will also make 3D presentation systems available so that audience members can experience the benefits of Viking 3Di Vision.

 

Support of Clinical Studies:  When appropriate, Viking Systems will assist in supporting clinical studies that provide intra-operative and post-surgical clinical data that support mutually applicable technology innovations.  The intent is to generate publishable clinical data in major clinical journals that showcase the surgical talent and technology utilized at the institution.  Viking Systems will sponsor studies of mutual interest for Center of Excellence institutions.
